Normally Walgreens is a great company, but this location is absolutely horrendous. I suffer from chronic pain and I was recently in a car accident. My doctor gave me a script to fill and since I no longer have a car I had to take a bus. This location was closest to the west transfer point, but they refused to fill my script. They said it was their policy not to fill it and wouldn't fill it for at least 3 days. Everyone at this location was very rude to me and because of the type of script it was I was treated like a criminal. I ended up having to take a taxi to the other side of town to the location I normally go to. So not only am I in pain from the bus trip after my car accident, but I am also out a bunch of money I didn't have for a taxi. Horrible location, horribly rude and entitled staff.

This is my second visit to this location during "grave shift hours." I'll start off with my experience during my second visit: my boyfriend and I are coolly welcomed in the store but I just brush it off and continue to the cosmetics section while my hubby stands in line to purchase ciagrettes. I'm slow to look for the perfect shade I want to exchange (with the one I'm returning) and I ask the older gentleman behind the counter if he had any cotton swabs that I could use to test the lipstick and instead of offering me outstanding customer service he gave me a very cold look and flat out said, "No." I repeated my question, "You really don't have any?" And he just said, "No." Equally gruff. Okay. I walk back to where I was oogling the merchandise and just dab the colours on my wrist. I spend about 5-10 minutes debating what color suits my darker complexion and I head over to the counter where he was waiting for me and asks, "Finally figured out what you want?" Probably not in those exact words I heard, but that is what I inferred from his question. I've dealt with situations like this in the past, working in retail myself I understand his view point, I just shrug off his comment and say, "Yup!" cheerfully. I mention to him that I would like to return something (I take it out and show him I'm returning lipstick) and I ask if he would honor this return without a receipt. His face was very stern and he said, "No." I ask him, "Your store won't honor returns wihout a receipt?" And his reply was, "Not at this time of night." Which I understand his reasoning behind. What I DON'T get is why, why, WHY would you treat a customer - YOUR customer so coldly? I know it's late, and I know I don't have a receipt, but why do you stare down on me? Now, my first experience was equally as terrible! I call at 12PM at night and it's the SAME night manager and I asked if they had someone that was capable of doing a photo book. I said it was extremely important because I had to wake up early the following morning to travel! I mentioned that if no one was capable of manning the photo lab, not a big deal, I can go somewhere else. But this man told me it was fine, so I make a trip to this location and begin creating a photo book for my dad. I spend almost 2 hours at this location and once I'm done I ask the manager how long it would take him to finish, and he said it shouldn't take too long. I'm patiently sitting there chatting with my boyfriend, who is also there with me, and then I hear the printer stop. I look over the counter and the manager had gone somewhere. We weren't in a hurry (since we still had time before our departure), so we just wait. When he returns he notices the printer is jammed and he tries to fix it himself. After 20 minutes pass he finally gets up and tells me I have to return 5 hours later when his photo technician comes in to get my photo book. Umm, what? You mean to tell me I spent a total of 3 hours pouring my heart out into that photo book and you want me to come back 5 hours later? After you deliberately told me over the phone you had it covered? Nuh uh. I politely declined his offer and left his store. Two thumbs down for this location. I may return for quick energy, but if you're looking for outstanding customer service I would suggest the Verona Walgreens, or any where else for that matter.

Heads up, if you have physicians plus insurance, do not try to get a flu shot there. They will not accept physicians plus. Overall, the pharmacy staff was extremely nice, but not very knowledgable, and it took a very long time to get anything done.
