  Was disappointed after expecting good things. If you enjoy 40 different IPA style beers in bombers circa 2015 then this is the place for you. The guy working the register wasnt very helpful, and when asked if they had any sours or wild ales he said "no because they suck". Not sure if he was the owner or the purchaser. He seemed more interested in discussing the secondary value of Macallan instead of providing anything remotely deserving of customer service to make a sale. I will not be returning to this venue when I am back in Madison

  University Avenue Liquor is the best liquor store I have ever been to. Their employees are very knowledgable. The best part is the discounts: $4 for a 6 pack of craft beer? Yes please!!!! Wisconsin is known for not messing around: Madison has one liquor store that proves it, I wouldn't go anywhere else. If you are in a liquor store and you notice the charge is $0.50 for a can of soda: you know you are being taken care of. The staff are knowledgeable, delightful people. The discounts on blowout liquor and beer are ridiculous. I've never seen anywhere like this place. This is the best liquor store I've ever seen. Stop missing out- come to the best liquor store in Madison if you want to be taken care of.
