  I was having trouble stripping cable wire to set up my speakers and decided to see if University Audio could help me. They stripped my wire for me in less than five minutes and refused to accept money for doing so. They were happy to do it and just wanted to help me be able to listen to my music. I'd recommend this place highly and appreciate their kindness!

  Not sure what happened with that other reviewer and the dog, but when I was in there today, the dog (a border collie puppy) was sequestered in the back. I had my son with me and he asked to see the dog. They warned me that she was very friendly and might jump up on us, but we're dog lovers and didn't mind. Once she was out and got used to us, she was much calmer. The point is, they keep the dog in back and only let her out upon request, so it's safe for those who don't like exuberant dogs. Also, I was told that having the dog there was only temporary. As for the service, these guys are awesome! I just bought a home theater receiver and surround sound speakers (not from them), but needed some quality speaker wire and banana clips. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. They looked up my system online to be sure they were recommending the right items for my home setup. In fact, they showed me that I needed a sub-woofer RCA cable I didn't know I needed. I would've driven all the way home and realized I didn't have the right cable, and then had to drive all the way back again unless they had pointed that out to me. Yes, they sell high-end stuff, but the quality and service is worth every penny. I will definitely shop here again!
