  Real toys, the awesome ones, and the ones you didn't know existed but once you saw them you realized the neat toys are hidden here. Compare the selection here to the rest of the stuff elsewhere; you'll find the toys at Playthings. If you want synergy marketing disguised as toys that have kids' movie titles and characters plastered on to promote yet another cute animated movie on DVD you'll have no choice but to buy, those aren't here. I find a cool item for my neice or nephew every time, and about 8 more that would be great too. I kinda liked the smaller jam-packed toy store atmosphere before they moved within Hilldale mall to a bigger store space, but the new location is easier to navigate, and the toys are as awesome as ever.

  When my kiddo outgrew the baby stores, Plaything became our destination - the only locally owned toystore left in Madison it seems. Excellent selection - particularly enjoy the fact that they have so many wooden and natural toys, for littles and bigs.
