  I got a coat as a gift, but the zipper was broken and I didn't have the receipt. I went to Kohls by easttowne and found one to exchange it for but instead of just exchanging it they said I'd get a refund in the mail. The receipt said to call the refund number if you didn't get your refund in 10 days. I called the number on the receipt and for 1 week it said the number was under maintenance. I called for 3 more weeks after that waiting as long as 3 hours on hold but never got a rep. While waiting on hold you have the option to either leave a detailed message or leave a call back number. I did both and never got a response. I finally went into the kohl's store by easttowne again and spoke to a manager. He had it resolved in 2 days. After all of this waiting and total frustration I received a gift card!! If they were going to let me return the coat for another one they could've done that the very first day I was in the store!! I was LIVID. I'll never purchase a gift for someone from Kohl's ever in life! Their extremely poor and incompetent customer service lost a customer.
