  Husband took my $300 watch to this store to have the battery replaced. The guy doing the replacement broke the watch (hands fell off) and tried to play it off like my husband had given it to him that way. Store manager agreed that it had been their error and acknowledged that it was their responsibility to fix it, but refused to send it to the watch manufacturer as requested. He basically told my husband that we could either send it to their repair shop or fight for the repair cost with their insurance company. This is a really crappy policy. If a store breaks a customer’s item, they should cover the cost of sending the item to the customer’s repair location of choice. And the fact that the store employee chose to lie about what had happened to the watch in the first place is also really crappy. We definitely won’t be shopping here or trusting them with battery replacements again.
